Worth the money,
This is a pan to beat all others. The handle doesn’t get too hot which was a concern of mine, although the lid does: beware! The heat distribution – I use gas – is fantastic (I feel unable to burn anything) and really makes a difference to slow cook curries or casseroles. The real bonus is its adaptability: from on the hob to the oven is easy and really does make a difference.
The pan is quite heavy even without food inside it so some people might want to check out a lighter alternative.

|A great pan – but a little heavy.,
It took me quite a while to persuade my wife to let me by some Circulon cookware – we came to a compromise and so it was to be I came by this pan. It was this or the 26cm Chef’s Pan – I went for this one due to the flatter bottom (for frying breakfast) and the fact it was lighter. I would have preferred the 26cm Chef’s Pan for stir-fries and stews due to the higher sides, but this pan is more than adequate.
I have had the pan for 1 year now, and it is very good, suitable for ANY hob and for use in the oven – what more could you ask for? Well the non-stick coating is the best I have ever used. They claim it is dishwasher safe, and while I have no reason to doubt that, I never trust non-stick surfaces in a dishwasher. That, and I have not had need to do any more than wipe the pan under warm or hot soapy water to remove any build up.
The pan is a little heavy, in fact it weighs almost as much as a 3 piece, stainless steel set of Russell Hobbs saucepans – which are also suitable for all hobs, and that is when it is empty. It sometimes hurts my wrist trying to serve from the pan when holding it with one hand. And while the main handle stays cool, the lid does not and the small grab handle could sometimes use a cloth. I would have preferred a glass lid with a cool touch handle, but then I suppose it would not be oven proof.

|Excellent pans,
This cookware may be a bit heavy and expensive, (I just bought a whole set) but they are the pans you’d probably see in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
If you are serious about cooking, or you just want to do beans on toast, these pots and pans, do the biz. Because I was more used to my old set, I keep forgetting to use a mitt of some sort to pick up the pans, as they can get very hot (they have metal handles), but after a couple of burns, you tend to remember!
But then there’s another good reason to use an oven mitt….all the cookware can be used on anything, including Induction and then put straight into the oven, up to Gas Mark 9! When you let the pans cool, they can then go into the dishwasher, a definite bonus.
My set of ‘Morphy Richards’ lasted about ten years, but these ‘Circulon Infinte’ pans are guaranteed for life…….I’ll be dead before they are knackered!
Recommended for junior and senior cooks/chefs alike.
